About Anne-Sophie clulow-Garrigou

Anne-Sophie Clulow-Garrigou is a climate communications specialist, a journalist, and an environmentalist with 12 years of experience and a passion for gender equality and social justice issues and for raising awareness for climate action.

Anne-Sophie wrote articles and op-eds published in EURACTIV, Apolitical, Cleantechnica, The Hundert, Clean Energy Wire and FairPlanet. She previously reported on climate action, renewable energy, systems innovation, European policies, climate justice, and the energy transition. She has created a print and digital magazine, two podcasts, and has spoken at conferences about gender and climate issues, sustainable innovations and climate communications. Her expertise lies in project management, strategic communications, editorial and media relations.

She is mostly known for having created The Beam Magazine, a print and digital publication covering the climate crisis and sustainable innovations. Her main goal with The Beam was to create a space for women and minorities to publish their research, present their innovations and express their opinions and experiences of the climate emergency with the rest of the world. Her role was to support them in translating their expertise into accessible information for a niche target audience. Through her interviews and editorial choices, Anne-Sophie has shifted the light to the unreported work of many activists, entrepreneurs, researchers and leaders whose stories aren’t told in mainstream media.

Anne-Sophie is French, is currently based in Berlin and speaks fluent English.
